Sakura 21 Resource Center

Located on the second floor of the Nagoya Campus Lecture Building, the Sakura 21 Resource Center houses a vast range of books, DVDs and magazines on Japan and Japanese culture. In the viewing area, students can make use of the resources on hand and hold discussions with their peers. Video cameras and other electrical equipment is also available on loan to assist students in producing presentations and materials on Japanese culture.

Resource Center Usage Guidelines

■Who is the Center Open to?

The Sakura 21 Resource Center is open to all Aichi University students and staff.

■Opening Hours

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Saturday 9am-12:30pm

※The center is closed between 12pm and 1pm.
※The center is not open on when a member of staff is not present.
※Students may use the center outside of its opening hours provided they are accompanied by a faculty member.

■Borrowing Policies

Please fill out the rental form when borrowing an item.

※Please present your student card when borrowing any items.
※If the item you are looking to borrow has been taken out by someone else, you may fill out a reservation form.
※Please adhere to return date deadlines.
Books:3 books per person / 8 days

※Please be aware that in the case a book is overdue, we will be unable to loan it out until it has been returned.
※Extensions are available provided another student has not reserved that book in advance.
DVDs:1 DVD per person / Same day return

※All DVDs are only available for use within the Sakura 21 Resource Center.
※University staff may borrow DVDs for up to a period of 15 days. Please give a reason for use when filling out the rental form.
Magazines:3 magazines per person / Same day return
Digital Cameras / Video Cameras / Tripods:Up to one item each per person / Next day return

※Extensions are available on a case-by-case basis.
Tablet Computers:1 tablet computer per person / Same day return

※The tablet computers are only available for use within the Sakura 21 Resource Center.
■Returns

Please return all borrowed items to the Sakura 21 Resource Center.

Digital cameras, video cameras, tripods, tablet computers (Iconicas/iPads), etc.
