Examining present-day Japanese society by studying the history of primarily Japan and other historically relevant regions
This major aims to help students become able to conduct specialized and independent research on the history of Japan from a broad perspective. In their sophomore year, students will be introduced to the basics through lectures and historical documents. In their junior year, they will receive specialized training, as well as other assistance, designed to help them improve their research skills so that they can produce excellent theses.
