1.Entrance Examinations for International Students

Entrance examinations for international students are administered in accordance with University regulations for international students wishing to attend the university. The examinations are administered each year in April.

Notes:

  1. Only the faculties and departments listed above are accepting applications from international students.
  2. Faculty of Regional Policy should choose a course(Public Policy,Regional Industry,City Planning,Local Culture,Health and Sports) at the time of application. Each student’s course of study within their faculty is determined after enrollment.
  3. Applicants to the Faculty of International Communication (general examination) who indicate a second choice for their department of choice at the time of application should note that they may be accepted to their second choice even if they are not accepted for their first choice. Applicants who wish to indicate a second choice should do so in the appropriate column on the application form.
  4. It is those who are judged that acquisition of one qualification of the following is expected at the time of this study entrance about an international communication faculty.
     460 or more TOEFL-PBT, 140 or more TOEFL-CBT, 48 or more TOEFL-iBT, 500 or more TOEIC
  5. As for a school-of-Business-Administration Accounts and Finance subject of study, foreign document subscription (English) serves as a compulsory subject.

 
3.Application Requirements

■Examination with recommendation
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  1. Applicants must have foreign citizenship and have completed 12 years of education in a foreign country, or must have qualifications recognized by the University as the equivalent of this education.
  2.  Applicants must be capable of obtaining student status following admission under Japan’s Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Law.
  3. Applicants must be enrolled at a Japanese school in Japan (a Japanese school,  Japanese program administered specifically for international students, etc.) and must be on track to complete the curriculum in which they are enrolled by the end of March 2013.
  4. Applicants must not apply for enrollment in any other universities while their application to Aichi University is being considered.
  5. Applicants must demonstrate Japanese proficiency average score grade  on the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (Japanese as a Foreign Language) (EJU).
  6. Applicants must have a letter of recommendation from a representative of the school in which they are currently enrolled.
  7. Applicants must be capable of defraying tuition and living costs from the time of their enrollment until their graduation.

■Entrance Examinations for International Students
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  1. Applicants must have foreign citizenship and have completed 12 years of education in a foreign country, or must have qualifications recognized by the University as the equivalent of this education.

  3. Applicants must have taken the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (Japanese as a Foreign Language) (EJU) administered by the Japan Student Services Organization in either 2011 or 2012.
  4. Applicants must be capable of defraying tuition and living costs from the time of their enrollment until their graduation.

Pre-arrival Entrance Examinations for International Students

1. About the Pre-arrival Entrance Examinations for International Students Program

Aichi University’s pre-arrival entrance examination program allows applicants to complete the application process without coming to Japan. Under this program, residents of countries other than Japan can take the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) offered by the Japan Student Services Organization outside Japan, enabling them to forego travel to Japan until they enroll.

  4. Applicants must have taken the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students ("Japanese as a Foreign Language" and "Japan and the World") (EJU) administered by the Japan Student Services Organization in either 2011 or 2012.
  5. Applicants must be capable of defraying tuition and living costs from the time of their enrollment until their graduation.

5. Screening Process

Applicants will be evaluated comprehensively based on their application documentation, their scores on the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students ("Japanese as a Foreign Language" and "Japan and the World") (EJU), and their general academic record.
※It may check by telephone about the capability of Japanese.


6. Application Documentation

Documentation required is the same as for the general entrance examination.
