Founded in 1962,the Managerial Research Institute was initially founded as the Institute of Accounting with the goal of conducting practical and theoretical research into corporate administration and accounting, providing instruction in corporate administration, and encouraging the development of business professionals. It adopted its current name in 1990 in the spirit of further developing its already varied economics research program in response to the remarkable changes sweeping modern society.

TOPICS
The Institute contributes widely to the business and academic worlds by publishing its Managerial Research Institute and other studies as well as by conducting a broad range of research projects and workshops. In addition to its functions as a research institute, it also stores a number of management-related journals and statistical data for use by researchers and students.
