Supporting English and other language learning
Point 1
Well-equipped facilities
The University maintains facilities that are equipped with the latest
technologies for studying living languages, including the LL Multi-Learning
System using CCD cameras and classes using multimedia materials. Extensive
holdings of learning materials support students in their efforts to learn the
languages of the world.
Point 2
Language instruction combines lectures, individual
learning, and study abroad.
With affiliations with 28 overseas universities, Aichi University offers plenty
of chances for students to participate in study abroad programs and short-term
language seminars. Students’ language skills undergo a remarkable evolution when
they build on the language skills they have learned at the University by
actually using their new languages overseas.
Point 3
Language-related faculties introduce on-site learning.
In an effort to improve students’ language skills and foster international
understanding, both the Faculty of Modern Chinese Studies and the Faculty of
International Communications offer many chances to experience language overseas
through fieldwork.
[ LL Multi-Learning System ]
High-resolution CCD cameras allow lectures where instructors and students
enjoy face-to-face communication. Students can also switch the camera view
so that they can practice pronunciation while watching their own mouths.
[ AV private study rooms ]
Private video, cassette, and computer booths allow students to watch and
listen to a variety of learning materials. They can also watch foreign
satellite broadcasts on a large monitor, making the study of living language
an enjoyable experience.
[ Extensive selection of language learning materials ]
Language learning labs support autonomous learning by providing students
with a broad range of texts and other materials to aid in proficiency test
preparation, including media zone video, CD, LD, and DVD content.
