A training organization with consideration for businesspeople
to bring up accounting professionals
In fiscal 2006, a new examination system for those who want to become certified
public accountants was established in response to voices in society calling for
an increase in the number of excellent certified public accountants. Aichi
University's Graduate School of Accounting is the Chubu area's first accounting
school that complies with requirements of the new examination system. The
Graduate School of Accounting sends out not only certified public accountants
but also licensed tax accountants, national tax specialty officials, and other
financial and accounting specialists who play active roles in private
enterprises and public organization. The Graduate School of Accounting awards
graduates a master’s degree in accounting (a professional degree).
Evening Classes on Easy-to-access Campus
The Graduate School’s evening class schedule allows adults to complete the
program by studying in the evenings and on Saturdays. It takes 10 minutes on
foot to the Kurumamichi Campus from Nagoya Station. Ease of access is one of
the merits of the Kurumamichi Campus.
Exempt from Some Sections of Certified Public Accountant Examination
Graduates can apply for exemption from the financial accounting, management
accounting, and auditing sections of the four-section short-answer segment
of the new Certified Public Accountant Examination, which came into effect
in 2006.
Small-group Education Taught by Teaching Staff including Businesspeople
A large number of businesspeople as well as researchers participate as
teaching staff members. The Graduate School provides thoroughgoing
small-group education to bring up work-ready students.
Early School Entrance Program for Third-year Students
The Graduate School offers an early school entrance program for third-year
students. Those who wish to take the entrance examination for the Graduate
School, however, have to leave university without completing the course.
